Pay Scales : -
1. Assistant Professor : Rs. 15600-39100 grade pay Rs. 8000
2. Associate Professor : Rs. 37400-67000 grade pay Rs. 9500
3. Professor : Rs. 37400-39100 grade pay Rs. 10500
Qualification: Minimum Qualification (for all faculty positions): Ph.D in suitable branch with first class or comparable (in terms of grades, etc.) at the former degree, with a very good educational record all over in addition, for:-
• Professor : Least 10 years teaching/research/industrial knowledge of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in IITs, IIMs, NITIE, IISc Bangalore, NITIE Mumbai and IISERs or at an comparable level in any such other Indian or foreign institution/institutions of comparable standards.
• Associate Professor: Least six years teaching/research/industrial knowledge of which as a minimum three years should be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent.
• Assistant Professor: Least three years of teaching/research/industrial knowledge (exclusive period of doing Ph.D) A fresh Ph.D may be measured for the position on contract basis.
