Staffing for Faculty Posts
Rajiv Gandhi Indian Institute of Management Shillong accepting application forms for Faculty posts in the subsequent areas:
1. Finance
2. Marketing
Minimum Qualification (for all faculty posts): Ph.D in suitable branch with first class or comparable (in terms of grades, etc.) at the preceding degree, with excellent educational record throughout in addition for:-
• Professors : Least 10 years teaching/research/industrial knowledge of which as a minimum 4 years must be at the level of Associate Professor in IITs, IIMs, NITIE, IISc Bangalore, NITIE Mumbai and IISERs or at an similar level in any such other Indian or foreign institution/institutions of similar standards.
• Associate Professors: Least 6 years teaching /research/industrial knowledge of which at least 3 years ought to be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent.
• Assistant Professors: The information of pay and the total minimum emoluments allowable at the time of joining are as follows: Minimum three years of teaching /research/industrial experience (elite period of doing Ph.D). A fresh Ph.D may be measured for the position will be on contract basis.
