CTET (Central Teacher’s Ability Test) 2013 – 2014

Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi will conduct CTET 2014 Examination on 16/02/2014 for posting as a Teacher for class I to VIIIth. The Candidates can Apply online application form on CTET/CBSE Website.

Minimum Qualification for CTET Examination:-
Minimum Qualification for Class (1st to 5th) Primary Level
Senior Secondary (or its corresponding) with as a minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in final 2 – year Diploma in Elementary Education (or its comparable) OR
Senior Secondary (or its comparable) with as a minimum 45% marks and passed or appearing in final 2 – year Diploma in Elementary Education (or its comparable), in accord with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations 2002 OR
Senior Secondary (or its comparable) with as a minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in final 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) OR
Senior Secondary (or its comparable) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final 2 – year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*
Note: -
(i) Recreation of 5% in least qualifying marks at BA/B.Sc./Senior Secondary level is admissible for SC/ST/ Differently able applicants.
(ii) (ii) For this year only, a applicant with BA/B.Sc. with at least 50% marks and B.Ed requirement shall also be qualified for test for classes I to V, provided he/she undergoes, after appointment, an NCTE recognized 6-month special program in Elementary Education
Minimum Qualifications for Classes VI-VIII: -
B.A./B.Sc/B.Com and passed or appearing in final 2 – year Diploma in Elementary Education* (or its comparable) OR
B.A./B.Sc/B.Com with as a minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 – year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)* OR
B.A./B.Sc/B.Com with as a minimum 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1 – year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)*, in accord with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR
Senior Secondary (or its comparable) with as a minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in final 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)* OR
Senior Secondary (or its comparable) with as a minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in final 4-year BA/B.Sc. (Ed) or B.A. (Ed.)/B.Sc. (Ed.)* OR
B.A./B.Sc/B.Com with no less than 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 – year B.Ed. (Special Education)*
* A diploma/degree course in teacher education documented by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) only shall be measured. Yet, in case of Diploma in Education (Special Education) and B.Ed. (Special Education), a course documented by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) only shall be measured.
Note: Relaxation of 5% in minimum qualifying marks at BA/B.Sc./Senior secondary level is acceptable for SC/ST and other way able applicants.

Candidates can apply online application form on subsequent websites www.cbse.nic.in
or www.ctet.nic.in.
The Applicants ought to apply all the information while filling up the ‘On-line’
Application. Applicants are requisite to take a hard copy of the computer produced
Confirmation Page after complete submission of data, which has to be sent to CBSE, CTET
Unit, after affixing a passport size photograph and signature in the space provided, and also
with the unique CBSE copy of challan if fees paid via Challan.
The application fee can be remitted in the subsequent ways:-
· 1) Through Challan by deposit of agreed fees in CBSE Account with Syndicate Bank or
e-Post Office in favor of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi.
· 2) By Debit/Credit Card.
